What type of "facade"?

Can't Post |
Hi

We are in the process of working out if we want to proceed with a project to build a house on Isla Mujeres in the Yucatan. If we go ahead this will be the first of many posts do doubt!

Our builder is asking us what "facade" we want on the house, I guess this means finish but I don't know what the options are - he has offered Mexican facade, can anyone tell me what this is and give other options?

Thanks

Karyn

The most common are finished brick and stucco. Stucco comes in a variety of surfaces from smooth to very rough with various stops between. Then there is the question of paint color for the stucco. There are other much more expensive finishes such as stone or tile.

Look around at your neighbors' houses and decide if you want yours to blend in or stick out.

Excuse me. You may know me as Zina on the Isla board. My initial reaction, and I dont know who your so-called realtor is, is that you may be overpaying if the figure you quoted is the rental is what you need. I have a lawyer in Cancun and a notario who is willing to make direct offers to landowners. that will also cut down on closing costs. Builders associated with most Isla realty companies charge several thousand percent of expenses
