Seed Order

I may or may not be making an order from a website recommended to me by several gardeners NOTB soon...

http://www.sampleseeds.com/

And when I go NOTB for a few things (in March) I may or may not be bringingmy order back with me. And I may or may not have the ability to put in an order for a seed packet or two for anyone who needs/wants something from the same website and bring it back with me. If that were legal you know, I would be doing it ;)

So. My inbox is open and inviting PMs to further nondiscuss any seed needs.

Seriously speaking though, anyone know of an online seed company here in MX? I would be interested to see what they carry.

Remember your growing zones because not all NOB seeds will do well in Mexico, depends on the zone and the length of daylight too.

Mercado Libre has lots of seeds for sale:

flowers:

vegetables:

Thank you! I did lots of googling and finally found a source that states Mexico City is considered zone 10a , but I also need to consider the amount of rain april-September for container gardening - never thought I would worry about a plant getting too much water but it does need t be considered!

Will check out those mercado libre links and see what they have, thank you for posting the links!

ETA: we can ignorethispost, upon reading further this product isnt for me. I doubt its very "green" and an unEcessary cost at that. Thanks!

I did find something I have been looking for...

http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.mx/...5-pesos-cod-1621-_JM

I have been hesitating to use too many peat pellets because of the environmental impact.

Are these "peat sponges" actually made of peat as well? Would it be the same environmental impact as the peat pellets, or better or worse? Anyone want to read thelisting and see what they think?

The majority of what I will be growing are peppers, tomatoes, lettuce/kale/spinach (varieties that dont need super cold conditions) and some herbs.
