I want a large waterfall at poolside.

I would like to have a large waterfall at the end of my pool (Maybe 10' high). I have seen some nice ones and taken pictures.

My preference would be to do it myself (with local stone and labour of course) rather than hire a contractor which will double or triple my price. I may be very wrong in my thinking so I would appreciate iny SERIOUS input. I do have a close friend who speaks fluent Spanish if that will help.

I'm going to be putting in a small rock fountain in my yard in the next couple of weeks. I'll let you know the cost. I'm using a laborer to do the work in my yard. It's really helping my Spanish. Sometimes though, it actually can be cheaper to use a contractor if they have an efficient crew.
