House Project Update for 03 January 2003

We began the new year with the roof sealing. Interesting process of seven layers of sealer, asphalt, fiberglass, and aluminum paint.

We are still plastering and stuccoing -- seems like that will go on forever.

looks good, Rolly. I hope you get more mileage out of the aluminum paint than we did. Our temperature extremes are pretty severe, but we were only getting about a year out of a coat of the aluminum paint before it all flaked off. I've had better luck with something called "snow roof," a very heavy duty latex paint that has some stretch in it.

Rolly;

It looks as if there is a lot of usable space on the roof..........any plans for a mirador or a palapa?
