Euphorbia trees

Can't Post | Private Reply
I have several nice Euphorbia trees on my lot. I hear that they have corrosive (milky) sap which can cause temporay blindness and skin rashes. They look like the trees described in this link:

http://www.arbolesornamentales.com/Euphorbiatirucalli.htm

I have also seen references to a Mexican pencil tree, " Euphorbia pteronera." I have searched for a picture of this tree and haven't found one.

Does anyone have a link to a picture of this species?

The trees are very exotic looking and I hate to take them down as they are not in the way. I am looking for information which might help me to decide.

Thanks.

I'm sorry that I can't offer any info about your trees. But I do know that in many parts of Mexico trees are protected by law and cannot be removed without permission. So before you do anything to the trees, you might want to check on any restrictions.
