Building Project Update for 20 December 2003

To my very great surprise, the plaster guys finished this week.
We also finished the tile baseboards at Las Casas, so that project is officially completed. Maestro and Nani finished at Las Casas on Friday afternoon with just enough time left to setup the base line for the floor tile at Martha's house.
Ruben spent a lot of time cleaning the floor and the window and door frames (lots of plaster spills) in preparation for tile laying and the painting of the door and window frames which Coco did today (Saturday). So we are ready to go full steam on the floor tile and to call the glass guys. We will also begin painting the walls and ceilings next week which will be a 3-day week.
The carpenter who is making the cabinets to hide the electrical breaker panels came by to verify the paint color. He says he will install the cabinets on Monday. Then he will start on the interior doors. This guy’s workmanship is not as good as some of the other cabinet makers, but he is faster.
