: I dont care what anyone says about Pitt Bulls!!! My sister has had A LOT of Pitt Bulls and she has had a couple of mean ones,but that was because they were older dogs when she got them and the people who had them before her made them mean.The way i look at it is any dog can be mean,and yeah SOME Pitt Bulls have being mean in their blood BUT MOST Pitt Bulls are made to be mean!!! So i think Pitt Bulls are a very safe animal!!!I agree with you it's not the dog it's the owner, and furthermore I think its wrong categorize these animals because of there physical abilities, they have a word for categorizing a group of living things, it's called racism.

Pitt bulls are only mean if the owner makes them mean .Like poodles,huskys,beagles and even chawawa's can be mean so it dosn't matter what kind of dog it is it can still be mean if the owner teaches it to be mean.

For anyone else who is sitting at a computer looking for information on "Pitt Bulls" I have a few things to clear up. First of all, I am the owner of a pitt and would never give her up for anything! The only thing that Pitts want is love and attention just like everyone else does. As far as the temperment, it's all in how to train them. Let's look at humans' - if you beat a child over and over and feed it nothing but harmful things, by the time it's old enough to go out into the world, that child will have become a danger to society! Think about it! It makes way too much sense. It's true that hundreds of years ago, Pitt Bulls were used for entertainment and Native Americans were used as slaves. But, neither are used for that now. Things change just like the weather. Some things for the better and others for the worse. Just some food for thought.
