: hey all...myself and 1-3 other women are taking our motorcycles for a weekend vacation...i'm wondering has any one done this and how it went...we're going from new mexico into puerto penasco ( i guess) i really wanna hammock on the beach but we only have 2 days there..any suggestions..safe, beautiful, and drivable?<p>: thanks<p>I would say it is very safe. The road is good from the border. Be sure to get there before midnight as they close the border. A hammock would need trees and there are none. Plus it is very hot until October so best to stay at a hotel. If not a holiday weekend, ie Labor Day, or a big Mexican holiday, then there are plenty of rooms from US$150 to US$20 per night.
