You do not have to get off of the toll road to get gas or a restroom. Most even have toliet paper and some have toilet seats. it is a good idea to carry toiet paper - just in case. Some enterprising soul might even come up with a portable toilet seat. I guess we could carry an inflatable swimming tube...Soda pop and food is also available.

at least if they are out in the middle of nowhere.not all toll booths have gas and most have resturantes and restrooms. focus your stops around towns on the map if you need to gauge it

The Guia Roji road atlas is a good reference for driving in Mexico. It includes charts for all of the cuota routes, including indications of where the toll booths are and where the Pemex stations are.I have found the information to be almost completely accurate. I suspect it is very accurate at the time of going to print.
