I'm thinking of driving a van from Puerto Vallarta to San juan del Sur, Nicaragua. Has any one made this trek? Is it necessary to have a visa to travel through El Salvador? Curious as to the red tape involved in multiple border crossings. Banditos a problema? Any help appreciated.
