new crossing at Reynosa to Mcallen

Can someone tell me where we get our FM2's stamped before using the new crossing to Mcallen? How about wait time at 2:00 in the afternoon? Thanks

Hello,

I can't help you about getting your FM2 stamped. But I don't think you will have any problems at all with wait times. The big problem you will have is signage for the new crossing. About a month ago I tried it from the Mission side and got lost trying to find the bridge. When I got there I was the third car in line to cross into Mexico and as I was crossing (about a couple miles) I saw only 5 cars comiing from the Mexico side and they were far apart. Not grouped.

When I got to the Mexico side i got lost again. NO SIGNAGE FOR THE MONTERREY highway at all. I didn't try to come back the same way. Because if there was no signage on the Gringo side I figured that the Mexico side would be worse.

Good luck. Perhaps by this time some signs have been placed. They will eventually.
