need ideas of where to find artists in mex-guidance

this may sound odd, but I'm doing this, as so far, as it comes to me, i am serious, and plan on crossing the border into mex through tijuana the following weekend after this. As for what I'm looking for, I know it's vague, but it's experience. I'm a mixed media artist, using acrylic, collage, photo, found object, and pencil. I'm a jewelry designer, who has had some success in san fran., which isn't that easy. I'm a writer/poet, this being my most passionate, and most progressed talent(doesn't earn a living though. I'm 35, of mex/irish/native american descent. as far as my length of stay, well that would obviously, as it comes. I appreciate any quick response and willingness to help.
