My son and I want to take our bmw 1150gs motorcycles on a tour of Mexico right after Christmas. I speak spanish and we are in no hurry, hoping to spend four to five weeks on the road. Does anyone have any experience cycling in Mexico you could share with us?

We went from Nogales to Mazatlan, Tequila, Guadalajara, Aguascalientes, Durango, Mazatlan, Mexicali.

I live in Monterrey MX and I have travelled from there to Ushuaia, Argentina.
I have traveled a lot inside Mexico, some Off Road (XR650R) and On Road (KLR650).
Just got a 1150gs... still 10 days or so to get it to the dealer...
If you want to travel after Christmas, maybe we can sort something out...E mail meKeep on roosting!!!Jerry
