: Basic route is 15D (D are toll roads) Nogales to Guamuchil; Sinoloa 1 Guamuchil to Culican; 15D from Culiacan through Guadalajara to Atlacomulco; 55D through Ixtapan de La Sal to Taxco, then cut back to Cuernavaca, to Cuautla, the 160 to Izucar de Matamoros. At Matamoros, make a decision whether to take the route via Puebla, taking 150D towards Orizaba, and cutting of on the Oaxaca toll road, OR taking the slow, but scenic route from Matamoros through Acatlan, Huajuapan de Leon and meeting the Oaxaca tollroad at Asuncion about 90km north of Oaxaca. I travel this route twice a year on my way to Chiapas and Guatemala. Many other interesting ways to go. Get a Gui Roji map. Overnight stays are plentiful along the way, although I never stay in the Toluca area. Enjoy your trip whichever way you go. <p>
Can anyone suggest a good route to drive from Nogalas to Oaxaca. We would like to see the interior of Mexico.
