car permits in La Paz???

I uasually get my FMT and temp auto permit after crossing in Lukeville AZ. but I am thinking about driving down Baja to La Paz and taking the ferry to Maz. in Oct.`10...Is there an office to get the temp auto permit in La Paz? Years ago I did the Cabo -PV ferry and did all auto permits in Cabo, hope itis the same in La Paz.....

Yep ... Aduana office at the ferry terminal. Might want to get it the day before to avoid the rush

driving down baja to la paz is a horrible idea..... i did it once........WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN.... plus the ferry boat moves at 1 nautical mile per hour..... 24 hour trip on ferry...
