I'm going to Rosarito beach, and want to know what documents are needed to cross the border.
ie-passports, driver license, birth cert. etc.

Baja is special

Driver's license and passport are all you need. You don't have the car papers burden that the rest of Mexico has. You can just zip on down to Rosarito. Avoid coming back to the USA at rush hour or on Sunday afternoon/evening.
Enjoy

Theres a great taco place on the way between Rosarito and TJ, its in a little area called La Gloria, just off the old road to Rosarito, its called Tacos La Gloria, ALways a line there, on the right side of road, just past police station.
Clean and great!

Actually, no passport is needed to return to US...only picture ID. No tourist card unless staying more than three days or travelling south of Ensenada.

Invest bucks in a day's worth of Mexican auto insurance, since your US policy is not valid there.
