Travel between Leon Airport & San Miguel de Allende

Can't Post |
What is the best way to get to San Miguel from the Leon Airport? All of the hotels in San Miguel seem to offer, of can obtain, travel services (such as vans at a cost of about $70USD one way) but what is the best way to make the trip (at a reasonable cost)? Thanks.

Viajes san Miguel will pick you up and take you to your hotel for U.S. $26pp. I think they advertise on infosma.com under transportation.
------------------------------------------------ : What is the best way to get to San Miguel from the Leon Airport? Viajes

Only problem with Viajes is they wait for a full van which is fine if you are on the late flight in, if you are on the early flight in they wait for the next flight. My husband spent three hours sitting around the airport wiating for them. I'd have gladly paid the extra to have them meet his plane and bring him directly to the hotel. He lost almost an entire day.

Viajes

I've used them several times and that has never happened to me. The only (slight problem) I've experienced is that if there is only one person taking the trip they charge extra. To avoid potential problems, I suggest you print out their published policy and insist they transport you in a timely manor-----------------------------------------

How much is the fare from the airport to Guanajuato? Do You buy a ticket inside the airport building like most other places: Merida,PV,Zihua, etc

How much to Guanajuato?

About a year ago the cost was approx. $24 US. As I recall, you paid at a booth. When I use the Leon airport for my trips to SMA, I often spend the night in Guanajuato. The cab trip is only about 30 minutes to the airport and I get to visit a beautiful city,----------------: How much is the fare from the airport to Guanajuato?
