Depends. Big word in Mexico. Pulling a cargo trailer behind a motorhome, I was never questioned, but pulling small tarped flatbed trailer, I was. I was told to make a list of the contents on the trailer for my rented casita and put a price on the used items. This included bed, dresser, desk chair, microwave etc. I paid a very small duty and was on my way. Have your list of appliances ready with approximate cost of $10 to $20 each and total. Don't show it unless asked. Nevermind the dishes and such. Search in forum for list of items that you can bring in without paying duty, such as, one laptop per person. One person can permit the truck, trailer and motorcycle. Enjoy your stay in Mexico, you're in for a fantastic adventure. http://dementias-daughter.com
