Hi All, Hope someone is still interested in the Santa Teresa crossing info. I live in El Paso and can help. The Santa Teeresa POE is west of El Paso and is reached off I-10 by way of the Artcraft exit on the west side of town. The new 4 lane divided highway is completed all the way to the border. You cannot obtain temp. vechicle entry papers here at this time, but if your destination is Chihuahua south, it doesn't matter, you can reach the Customs/Immigration documents center this way and by crossing here you will avoid the congestion of the El Paso/Juarez crossing. You proceed approx. 12 miles south to meet Mex highway 2 ( you can't possibly get lost, it is a access road only for that purpose ) and take a left back toward Juarez and when arriving at the glorieta (maybe 10 miles?) bear to the right, South, toward Chihuahua City. After several miles (5?) you will arrive at the Immigration/Customs building where you can do all proccessing, personal and auto to continue south. There is no proccessing done at the border in Juarez any longer, so this is where you'd end up anyway.
This way is useful especially if arriving from the west on I-10. Fill up at the Artcraft exit. It's the last station in the US going this way.
If traveling from Chihuahua north just reverse the proccess at the Glorieta and head west on Mex 2 to the Santa Teresa turnoff.
