San Luis Potosi Bypass

Can't Post |
Will soon be travelling from Laredo to Guadalajara via Matehuala (Highway 57). Understand that there is a new bypass between Matehuala and San Luis Potosi which leads to Ojuelos de Jalisco and Lagos de Moreno. This is good news because there is a horrendous mountainous highway section in the San Luis Potosi area which can now be avoided. Can anyone give me the distance from Matehuala to this by-pass? Also wonder if the by-pass is well marked. Thank you.<p>

SLP Bypass

Coming south on #57 watch for the #57 bypass for Mexico City, it turns off to the left. The bypass Joins the old #57 coming out of SLP. At this junction the new hwy. goes off to the right.
Hope this helps.
