I drove into Mexico back in February for about two weeks, received an FMT.
Can I drive the same vehicle back into Mexico in July? I turned in the hologram and saved the receipt from the border.

I've read regulations that say you can only bring in a vehicle once in 12 months on an FMT. But I constantly read about people going to the border, doing a U turn and coming back in with a new sticker and a new FMT. So, what's up? Rules but non-enforcement?

Don,<p>It's not that everyone is ignoring you. The situation is that none of us know any more than you. Yes, there is a rule that you can only get one permit per year. In practice the rule usually is ignored, I think because the clerks just don't check to see if you got one earlier. Really, why should they care? In fact, what is the point of such a rule?<p>People have said that on the odd occasion when they were refused permits they just went to another border crossing and went through. But who knows, maybe next week the rules will be different.
