Report of Baja Eclipse in Cabo

|
In Cabo it was clear as a bell. The entire eclipse was viewable and the Pirate Ship Cruise was accomodating to eclipse chasers and the dancing crowd equally.
The 96% Partial eclipse from Cabo had two important viewing effects. One was the rotating crescent after the peak of the eclipse and two, the incredible lighting effects the event had on the sky and surrounding land and sea areas. Lands end was lit in purple and the sky had every color. As the event ended with the eclipsed sun sinking over the party center of Cabo San Lucas, the 150 people on board the 110 year-old pirate ship partied like it was 1999. Or, the "Last Baja Eclipse".
In the days following, we drove a humvee on the el faro viejo 300 foot sandunes, jumped from 40 foot waterfalls and caught marlin and dorados for dinner. Keep an eye out on Planet X TV (its syndicated so look to your TV Guide for airtimes) for a shot of the eclipse form the ship, they were there to cover the story.
