Ranch Life?

We are going to the family ranch , they have no running water, no telephone lines, I would like to know if it's possible to have internet.Also any ranch safty tips?It's a BIG change, but I'm very excited!Thanks , Lisa

Three options are:
1)Assuming they have electricity, internet via satellite
2)Most Mexican cellphone providers offer internet connections. Not the best for web browsing but email works just fine.
3)Depending on how close the ranch is to the nearest town, you can probably locate a webcafe.<p>
