Not to put Dale down, but, I drive Houston to Laredo two or three times a week, every week.<p>To me the only reasonable route is US59 [southwest freeway] door to door. Takes me 5 hours 95% of the time.<p>Unless you live far west of Houston, going I10 is a loser.
