Quickest Route Houston to Laredo

I will be driving to Guadalajara from Houston and was wondering what the fasted route from Houston to Laredo is?
Any help is appreciated.

Laura, according to WWW.Mapquest.Com :1: Start out going Southwest on MILAM ST towards PRESTON ST by turning right. 0.10 miles

2: Turn RIGHT onto PRAIRIE ST. 0.07 miles

3: Turn RIGHT onto LOUISIANA ST. 0.24 miles

4: Turn SLIGHT LEFT to take the I-10 W ramp. 0.42 miles

5: Merge onto I-10 W. 195.58 miles

6: Take the US-87 N/I-35 S/I-35 N/I-10 W exit- exit number 572- towards LAREDO/EL PASO/AUSTIN. 0.14 miles

7: Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp. 0.41 miles

Not to put Dale down, but, I drive Houston to Laredo two or three
times a week, every week.To me the only reasonable route is US59 [southwest freeway] door to door.
Takes me 5 hours 95% of the time.Unless you live far west of Houston, going I10 is a loser.
