Just off the top, I'm not sure that the words "reasonably priced" mean much when addressing a diverse group. My in-laws would consider US$100-$125/night "reasonably priced" while I have friends who consider anything over US$40/night excessive.
My wife and I stayed at Flor de Maria for a week around 1995. It was comfortable, seemed to be pretty well run, and had a decent restaurant. My recollection is that it was about US$35/night 'way back then.
It is located on a side street about 20 minutes walk from the downtown tourist area. The side street runs up from the beach. The walk to the beach is about two minutes.
There were a couple of quirky things about it. There is a "swimming pool" (about four feet deep) on the roof. The husband/owner, Lino, seemed to be pretty out-of-sorts. The wife/owner, Maria, seemed to be very busy.
That over six years ago, so presumably some things have changed a bit.
