Poza Rica bypass tollway completed?

We drove back from Playa del Carmen several months ago and there was a by pass of Poza Rica to somewhere around Tampico almost completed. Does anyone know if it is open and if so where do you pick it up on the Tampico end?

The by pass is completed to Tuxpan, but construction is continuing that will eventually bring you out just south of Tampico. Maybe that's the reason why the road is so terrible on the south side of the Tampico bridge - they're waiting for the by pass to be finished before they fix that horrible road.<p>Anthony<p>: We drove back from Playa del Carmen several months ago and there was a by pass of Poza Rica to somewhere around Tampico almost completed.
