Monterray to Patzcuaro

Can't Post |
Hi,
Can anyone give me the best routing from Monterray to Patzcuaro? I've studied my road map but still have questions concerning secondary roads and going "out of the way". Also time involved. Help! I'm a woman, so you know I need details.
Thanks for any help.
Pat.

It's simple. And a one-day drive. From Monterrey, take Hwy. 57 to Saltillo, Matehuala, San Luis Potosi, Queretaro. At Queretaro, take the cuota to Celaya. At Celaya, turn south to Morelia. At Morelia, take the southern libramiento to Patzcuaro.
(Alternatively, you could turn off Hwy 57 at San Diego de la Union, head to Dolores Hidalgo, then to San Miguel de Allende, then down through Comonfort to Celaya.)

Monterray to Patzcuaro - thank you, Jennifer

: Thank you so much, Jennifer. That's the way I was seeing it on my road map, but I wanted to double check with someone in the know.
When I arrive in Patz. I'll be seeking a kitchenette type place for temp. shelter while I search for a permanent homestead. Something centrally located near the plazas, with parking. I'll also be hunting an internet cafe. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Pat.

There are several Internet cafes around the plaza.
For apartment leads, you might consider posting on the Michoacan Forum as well as MoreliaConnect (which covers Patzcuaro, too) at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MoreliaConnect/
