Recommend the older. Columbia can bottleneck severely with trucks. No msg.

Trucks do use Columbia, but not in the number implied by Travelin' Vinny.I think he is confused with the Puente Comercial (bridge III) in between Laredo and Columbia. *THAT* bridge carries most of the truck traffic from the west side of Laredo (and I don't even think cars can use that bridge).I've crossed at Columbia at least a dozen times in the past year and I honestly can't recall *EVER* having to wait behind so much as a single truck waiting to cross...Columbia can save you time, but it's a bit of a pain to get there (50 km from the main highway between Monterrey-Laredo), and there's no insurance for sale as you cross into Mexico from Texas. Going the other way, it can't be beat!
