"Hmmm" is right. Well, part of the mystery is solved. It turns out the credit card I'd been trying to use had been canceled due to a "security breach" according to my card issuer (B of A). I had no idea, and I had effectively used it as recently as June 16. Phone calls with BofA today revealed that the card wasn't cut off due to any sketchy transaction or card behavior on my part. BofA said that they'd received a "warning" from VISA about a large number of cards - sounds like a computery hack thing - so they'd cancelled thousands. No need for me to feel special. I actually checked my local PO Box today and sitting in there was my shiny new replacement card. So I'll give them an A+ for being able to crank out plastic and put it in stamped envelope. Regarding not being able to access my tickets on the Interjet website today....my best guess is it's just a delay. I ended up using a debit card - since I knew it would work last night after a frustrating few hours - and the transaction just hasn't been posted yet (checked my on-line statement). Buried on the Interjet website, I think I read something to the effect that since Interjet uses a variety of non-instant payment methods, what they first do is give out a "confirmation code"....then wait to receive payment. Once they've receive actual payment, then it'll probably all show up in "the system". Maybe. I confirmed with BofA that the debit went through fine, so we'll see. I think Mexico is trying to teach me patience again.
