Does anyone know whether Hyundai Motors has (a) dealership(s)
in Mexico, specifically Jalisco.
Thanks in advance for your input.

There are no Hyundai dealers in Mexico. The only Hyundai available is the compact Atos, which is imported through a special arrangement with Dodge.
: Does anyone know whether Hyundai Motors has (a) dealership(s)

However, I do see plenty of the Hyundai suv's driving around Guadalajara, with Jalisco license plates. Don't know who is selling them, or if they are private imports, but you would not be the first to own one here.

I had a Hyundai in Mexico and had trouble getting parts--ended up having to send to Texas for an alternator. Found out later that there are a lot of Hyundai dealerships in Guatemala, which would have been easier for me at the time.
Does anyone know whether Hyundai Motors has (a) dealership(s)

It is possible to import the Santa Fe, even if you are Mexican, since the vehicle is a) not classified as a luxury vehicle and b) is not currently sold within Mexico. However, you will pay through the roof on getting Mexican plates.
I live in Mexico City and have never seen a Hyundai SUV here other than foreign plated cars.
If you are American, tthe better step is to buy it in the U.S. and bring it back with U.S. plates.

: However, I do see plenty of the Hyundai suv's driving around Guadalajara, with Jalisco license plates.
