Highway through Campeche City was still closed due to flooding and damage to bridges..this was a couple of days ago on the local news, but I imagine not too much has changed. We drove the route two and half weeks ago, lots of construction made the parts between Campeche City and Villahermosa pretty rough..hope this helps
