Has anyone crossed the ferry between Mazatlan and La Paz recently?

I have a small Nissan truck I thought I'd cross if there's even a ferry there any more. Is it preferable to use a different port? <p>rom

If you are leaving from Mazatlan there is no other port. Check out www.bajanet.com They have the latest ferry information (as of July 2002) and prices. They are running some specials right now.<p>

Is it preferable to use a different port? <p>: rom<p>I did it from La Paz to Mazatlan last July with my Jetta. It's expensive and takes f...o...r...e...v...e...r. The dolphins don't even bother swimming in the wake. The cost for my car and a cabin (recommended) was ~$350.
