Ground Transportation from Toluca airport

I am going to México City and find I can save considerably by flying to Toluca. What ground transportation is there at the airport to take me to México City? Assuming there are buses, where do they go? Our hotel is in the Alameda Park area. Thanks for any advice.

Interjet offers excellent and frequent shuttle service to the DF and there is no need to book it in advance. Take the Interjet shuttle (it's about a 45 minute trip) to the destination closest to your hotel (the Holiday Inn Express at the World Trade Center in Col. Nápoles) and then jump in a cab to your hotel downtown. The taxis departing from the Holiday Inn Express are secure.

You will have no problem getting on an Interjet shuttle in Toluca even if you are flying an airline that does not offer shuttle service. Just go up to the shuttle counter and pay for a ticket. Trust me, lots of people fly into Toluca but it is the final destination for very few.
