For those who travel to Guatemala

I crossed into Guatemala in January from Belize with a truck load of stuff, including a lot of stuff purchased in Mexico. No problem - they could care less. Didn't even open the back door on my windowless canopy or open the back doors of the crew cab. You park in the entry lot, get your vehicle sprayed with insecticide (guy said no charge since he had never seen a truck like mine), go inside when your papers are checked, pay a little entry fee, go back outside, put a sticker on your windshield, drive up to the crossbar, started to hand the guy the papers to look, but he merely opened the bar and motioned me on. Very easy. Much more enjoyable than either Belize or Mexico. Going out on the west coast was even easier - just stop and turn in sticker. Guatemala was a joy, BUT, beware, the state police do stop you in the middle of nowhere to check your vehicle registration papers very carefully. Had it done twice in a two mile stretch. Other than that, enjoy. Great country.
: Sorry a little off-topic, but there isn't much info about importing goods into Guatemala that I could find. Anyways, I'm going to take there a set of pans and a nintendo 64 game console there and was wondering what I need to do to make sure I can get them through Guatemalan Customs? Thanks in advance.
