I have used this airport for the last five years and have never had any problems. In addition, I have often driven in and out of TG at all hours of the day and night and also have had no problems. There is taxi/combi service from the airport to town, however it has gotten kind of expensive. As to which airport the planes are landing at, it is always a guess, and seems to be based on which way the political winds blow! Hope that it is the one right in the city...Cynthia<p>: I will be attending a wedding of a friend in Tuxtal Guiterrez, Chiapas in October 2002. I visited TG in Dec. 1994 and found it to be safe and enjoyable, yet, 8 years has gone by since my last visit and wanted to know if anyone has been there rececently...Did you feel safe?<p>: Also, I will be flying Mexicana from DF to TG? Does the Airport (the one further away from TG) have good reliable Taxi service to TG Centro?<p>: Thanks for any insights!<p>
