Any problem driving a 32' motor home (diesel) from Texas (Brownsville) to Cancun and returning by another route?

: Any problem driving a 32' motor home (diesel) from Texas (Brownsville) to Cancun and returning by another route?
Going along the coast won't present any insurmountable problems. There is an itinerary posted at the link shown below that gives driving directions to campgrounds and points of interest. Most important, it will route you around Veracruz. The itinerary includes Catemaco but you may wish to bypass that because of the sharp dropoff from the highway.
Coming back, the itinerary goes through the interior. The notes discuss the issue of vehicle size. After reading them you'll be able to decide whether to continue on the itinerary or come back the way you went down.

I'd do it. Last year i spent 6 months driving the mexican countryside. never made it to cancun but certainly covered alot of ground. people advised me to (1) travel by day and (2) stick to the autopistas (highways). it's good advice but i did my share of night driving through remote areas and never had a problem.
