Congratulations on your daughter's marriage. MX DF is not tourist friendly. Be ready to pay top dollars for mordidas. Trust me they will find a way to get some money out of you.<p>There are many web sites that may shed some light about driving tips and what to avoid. The most common one in all web sites is "don't drive at night" and watch for donkeys, or other livestock on the road.<p>Bus info. is really hard to get from any web site. When you get to Hermosillo, you may want to check the bus depot for more accurate information about prices and itineraries.
: Hello, my daughter is planning on buying a car in Arizona and driving down with it to Mexico City (where she works on an FM3). We have a lot of the info covered about getting insurance, getting the car into Mexico etc., but now as we go to plan the actual drive (we will be meeting her novio in Hermosillo and then they will proceed from there and I will take the bus back up to Nogales...)... I am not sure where to get info. Would appreciate any tips or comments on the drive, things to watch out for, good info sources, any experiences...
