: : July 9 I will be returning to Texas. Does anyone know the best route from Guadalajara to Houston?<p>: There is two ways to do it.
: Guadalajara-Zacatecas 320km 5Hrs on Hwy 54
: This is resonobly good free Hwy, speed 90-60 km
: Zacatecas-Saltillo 372km on Hwy 40 toward Montarrey.
: At Montarrey or even earlier watch for Hwy 85 or
: Hwy 85D to Nuve Lorado.
: Saltillo-Nuve Lorado 320km 4-1/2Hrs.
: If you want to make time use Hwy 85D, 110km speed
: no slow down,but it cost $160 peso for car, more for RV.From Lorado to San Antonio to Huston.<p>2nd way:
Guadalajara-Gas De Moreno 193km 3Hrs
Take Hwy 80D or Hwy 80 libre toward Gas De Moreno
after Gas De Moreno keep on Hwy 80 toward San Luis Potosi.At San Luis Potosi pick up Hwy 57 toward Matehuala.
Gas De Moreno-San Luis Potosi 155km 2.20Hrs
San Luis Potosi-Matehuala 192km 2.20Hrs
Matehuala-Montarrey 345km 4Hrs still on Hwy 57,
toll $100 peso.At Montarrey pick up Hwy 85D Toward
Nuve Lorado.
Montarrey-Nuve Loredo 224km toll 160 peso
