Drinking Water

Well, one more question came to mind while I was trying to fall asleep. I guess I still have a few concerns, 33 days left before the great adventure. I'm trying to prepare myself for this. One major worry is, the water. The ranch I'm going to has no running water. Only in the shower, and that is cold, but ok when the sun heats it up a bit. They use big block holders in the back of the houses for washing dishes & laundry ect. They boil thier drinking water. I would like more info or tips on this. Is the water safe, even though it runs through the cow pasture? Is boiling enough? What if I trap rain water, is that safe enough? Thanks again....Lisa

Lisa, I don't know the answer to your question, but I'll bet you have some bouts with the tourista before your system gets in tune with the local bugs. And on that gloomy note -- what I really wanted to ask you –- if/when you have access to the internet, please come back here and tell us how it’s going. I’m sure this is going to be an interesting adventure for you.
Very best wishes.
Rolly

Try to find the time to keep a diary, later, you'll be glad you made yourself do it. I kept a detailed daily journal for my first year. I've enjoyed boring family and friends with it.
Rolly
