I had time and went down to the Los Indios crossing. I got my FMM tourist card and TIP today. Since I had just purchased this car I only had my new SD registration. I don't have title yet. I came prepared with copies of my passport, driver license, registration, and detailed receipt for motor vehicles from SD. I got my copy of the tourist card there First I got my FMM tourist card. Then I went to the CITEV window. They took a look at my registration and passport. They asked to see my Mexican and USA insurance papers. Then they sent me to the Banjercito window. They issued me my TIP sticker, total cost 3222.48 pesos including the deposit. I also paid for the tourist card separately. I was in and out in about 1 hour. I was the only car crossing back into the USA, a first for me.
