Current road conditions between Monclova and Sabinas

Does anyone have reliable information on current (July 21) road conditions north of Saltillo heading toward Piedras Negras? Is the bridge at Sabinas open? I will be leaving Oaxaca on July 27th and I am hoping that route will be open by then. It seems that any other eastern route to the border is pretty dicey right now. Thanks!

The bridge in Sabinas is still out. The toll booth operator told me Sunday that it was closed and will remain closed until next week.

Hey Dollie,

you might want to let him know that you just went through there a couple of days ago and maybe PM him with additional information, about what is happening at the border etc. I know for me that usually helps a lot.
