When you travel down the beautiful mountains from Tuxtla Gutierrez to Arriaga then you can head either west/northwest to the Isthmus of Tehuantepec in Oaxaca State or south/southeast to the far reaches of Mexico and, finally, to Guatemala and the rest of Central America.
A fantastic drive and worthy of having done so whichever way you turn. If any of you have any interest in this adventure, let Dawg know. If you go there you will have become a more interesting person.
