Colombia bridge access on 3/22

We have intentions of crossing into the States on 3/22 via the Colombia bridge. A friend from here informed us that 3/22 is a holiday in the name of Benito Juarez, and that the crossing might therefore be closed. Is this likely? If so, then my guess would be that all crossings would be closed for the same reason. Any knowledge would be appreciated!

The holiday is being celebrated today in lieu of 3/22 - thus allowing people a three day weekend. I would have no worries about crossing then.
