Cell Telephones Clarification

Can't Post |
I have a cell telephone that is not active, as I have other cell telephones that I use here in the states. I wanted to know where can I take the cell telephone that I am not using, to have someone reprogram it with a prepaid card. This card is install inside the cell telephone. You just buy whatever amount you want.
Is there anywhere in the Los Angeles Area or Nogales, AZ or MX where I can have this done. Some of you would not do it on your U.S. cell phones, but remember this in an extra unit that I am not using. Your feedback in this matter is higly appreciated.
Best regards.

Cell Telephones Clarification

I had my old cell phone reprogrammed by IUSACELL. They kept the phone overnight to see if it was compatible with their system. They did reprogram it so I can buy prepaid phone cards. The phone is an Ericsson model DF 388. There was no charge for reprogramming the phone.
A few months ago, another poster said he had his phone reprogrammed by Telcel. They have a much larger area of coverage than IUSACELL.
Rex
