: Does anyone have info re: fishing villages, road conditions, on Cabo Corrientes, just below Pto. Vallarta?? I'm looking for secluded villages, not resorty, touristy villages. Brian<p>Try El Chimo, just inside the Bay of Banderas,1 hour by boat from Vallarta. I know of 2 rentalable rooms there, e-mail me for more info.
This is a village which relies on fishing as its income, and though they know they are overfishing, they have no other form of income - so a couple of tourist might start a trend and give a little relief to the fish.
