Hi I'm planning a trip in Decemeber to Mexico with a friend from Germany who's visiting Mexico for the first time. He, unfortunately, has no interest in visiting Mexico City because of the high crime rate etc. and I don't want to force him into going. I want to see a pastorela, a christmas play, being performed in a fairly popular town outside north of Mexico City called Tepotztotlan. I am wondering if their is any bus routes that go directly from Guanajuato to Tepotztotlan or maybe even from Guanajuato to Teotihuacan as I also will not miss the pyramids. Any information would be great.
