Bus from Guadalajara to Los Mochis

Need a little help, I guess. I've tried the various sites for buses in Mexico, ETN, Omnibus, Uno, Primera Plus, ad infinitum with no success in finding a line that runs from Guad to Los Mochis. I must be doing something wrong, because Los Mochis is a sizeable city and of course Guad is huge. Could someone with a little know how in this give me a little "heads up?" A website, or a bus company, cost, anything. Much appreciated!

Try doing a point to point thing. Plug in Mazatlan or Culiacan first, and from there you can get to Los Mochis, no doubt.

Alternatively....have you considered flying? I've been doing a lot of research lately on flights out of Guadalajara. VivaAerobus, a discount airline, has started flying to Los Mochis from GDL. AeroMexico also flies there. Where there's compeition, there might be some low airfare, especially on VivaAerobus if you can fly with very little luggage, and can print out your own boarding pass.

Here's a 'heads up'. Go to the new Guadalajara central bus station near Tonola. Either TAP or Elite will take you to Los Mochis and are better lines. Don't expect to accomplish much online when it comes to Mexican buses. They are great but take a little learning and one thing to learn is to go directly to the bus station in the city you are embarking from and get your bus to your destination. Sometimes people don't understand the counter-intuitive nature of things in Mexico. Efficiencies are not modeled on how it's done in other places.

not sure...... all i know is you can go to bus depot and purchase your ticket ahead of time..... so you can plan the day you leave....
