Border Crossing

Can't Post |
I would like some information as to border crossing into mainland Mexico. I have been to Baja many times and have flown to several cities on the mainland but this will be the first time for driving this far south. We are planning to cross at Nogales and go as far as San Carlos. We have a motor home and a tow vehicle. There are two of us so I should not have any problems with two vehicles. What do I need as far as paper work, etc.

To make it even easier on yourself, I'd suggest entering Mexico at Lukeville (US), just south of Organ Pipe National Monument. It is a very sleepy little entry point that should keep you from feeling lost or uncertain abouat what to do next. There is a good RV park at the National Monument or right at the border at Gringo Pass, so you can even walk across the border the evening or afternoon before and check out the parking and where each step of the paperwork takes place.
Why stop at San Carlos??? Go further for warmer water. It's beautiful toll road all the way to Mazatlan.
Have a great trip, Talley
