I asked in the general forum and got no responses, maybe someone over here can help:
Is there a good source of current (emphasis: current)information regarding the ferries between Lapaz or Santa Rosalia and the mainland? The Sematur site is very out of date, and I don't even know if they operate the ferries anymore.
If anyone has some personal experience with these boats within the past six months, I'd like hearing about it.

My personal experience is more than a year old,
no help in this rapidly changing situation.<p>The most recent extensive discussion I know is:

on the Baja Message Board. This is less than two
months old, and does include links and schedules
for the new high speed (4 hour crossing) ferry.<p>The ferrysematur group seems
to be concentrating now on truck cargo traffic
