Hi there guy´s I have recently been forced to abort my driving holiday in Mex due to a serious family illness. I have sold the car to get the funds to make it home.
As a result I didn´t cross the border to cancel my temp permit. I have since cancelled my credit card that the authorities have but is this enough? And will I have trouble entering Mexico again to continue the holiday at a later date I will fly in the next time with no vehicle needs rather than do the driving thing?
Cheers
Carmella

Hi Carmella,
I'm sorry to hear about the unhappy end of your visit in Mexico.
When you come next time by plane, you will not have any problems entering the country. You will never be able to drive into the country again, but flying will not be a problem.
Hurry back.

: Hi guy's thanks for the advice on my return to Mexico. I hope to do so in the next 6 months when things settle down here. I will fly to Mexico City and then to Zihuatenjo. As I said in my last email I cancelled the credit card for my vehicle permit.(It was a pretty rushed and unfortunate departure from Mexico)I know now that I will not be able to return a car to Mex due to my sale of car and sudden departure, but is cancelling my credit card enough or will I be charged some fees by the mexican govt? Friends in Australia say that once the card is cancelled no funds can be drawn from my account. Is this the case guy's?
Thanks again Carmella
: Hi there guy´s I have recently been forced to abort my driving holiday in Mex due to a serious family illness.
